We have now run Goth Night for 317 weeks in a row! There have been TWO times when we were prevented from playing our music — once for New Year’s Eve and once for St. Patrick’s Day. There have also been TWO times when we had to shut down the music — once for a power outage and once (last week) for a tornado warning

We’re all about chaos at Rewired. The occasional paddywagon and firetruck make things interesting. And, of course, we’ve been known to fight amongst ourselves a bit. Yet, we REALLY don’t like not playing our music. So let’s play the probabilities. There’s a 4 in 317 chance ( < 1% ) the music gets stopped this Wednesd@y. We like our odds, so we'll see you then

Wednesd@ys are the one night of the week where we put our differences aside and focus on our similarities. I know that many people have issues with us — especially with me. I'm asking you nicely to let it go — if only for one night — for the good of The Scene, The Bar, The Music, and above all The Family we have carefully build over the years.
Goth Night has survived 21 years of ENDLESS drama. In that sentence, we could focus on The Drama. Let's instead focus on The Survival. We've made this far, let's keep it going so that the next generation of Goth Industrial Rave people have a place to take shelter from the oppression often experienced by those with alternative lifestyle.
