In response to controversy over The Church on Strayer’s new “Being Gay is NOT a gift from God” campaign, The Pride of Toledo Foundation is planning a peaceful demonstration, in collaboration with Equality Toledo faith leaders.  The demonstration will take place outside the Church on Strayer (at the corner of Salsbury & Strayer in Maumee) on Sunday, September 25 at 10 a.m.  All are welcome to participate, but the Pride of Toledo asks you to please come in your Sunday best, adding, “Remember we are an organization that promotes change through peaceful action. See you on Sunday!”
